Through play, exploration, activities and quality outside time we will promote children’s development and learning. Complimenting the weekly topics and themes of Nursery we will ensure children continue to achieve in all seven areas of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Sessions are planned according to a child’s needs and wants with each child being treated as an individual and celebrated for their unique qualities. We work in partnership with parents and the nursery teachers to help each child reach their full potential and thrive, have fun and be happy.
In addition to complimenting the weekly topics and themes of Nursery we also follow a fun daily theme.
A Typical afternoon at Preschool
12.30pm- Inside Free Play
1pm- Songs, nursery rhymes and fun!
1.30pm- Story ‘chill time’
1.45pm- Outside Fun and small group activities
2.30pm- Snack time followed by daily theme whole group activity
3pm- Inside/Outside play
3.30pm- Home time or After School Club!
Pre-school Sessions –
Pre-school Afternoon sessions -12.30- 3.30pm
Morning Nursery class finishes at 11.45am. The 45 minute gap before Pre-school session starts is filled by the school. They offer a lunch supervision. Your child will be collected from nursery and supervised in the school hall eating a packed lunch that you will need to provide.
There is a cost that is payable to school, to cover the supervision of the parent supplied packed lunch to link morning to afternoon care from 11.45 to 12.30pm

We accept all childcare vouchers/Bacs payments/Government scheme on a half-termly basis.
Please note that the school in nut free, some children have severe allergies to nuts so please do not pack any items that are likely to contain nuts such as pesto, peanut butter and Nutella.
